Best practices: Sea Scouting in Sweden, Jamboree, 2011, Sea Scout Pentathlon (Anna Haggård, Göran Thulin, Svenska Scoutförbundet)

• Sea Scouting Sweden has a new logo
• There are 80,000 scouts in Sweden: General membership is dropping, but not Sea Scouts
• S/Y Biscaya and 2 other bigger boats are available
• Swedish Sea Scout Pentathlon – September 20-21, 2008 in Stockholm
• Sailing, Rowing Knots, Navigation, Swimming (with clothes and a doll), Boat knowledge
• Will be held at the Swedish Maritime Musuem
• Sea Scout summer camp in 2010
• Sea Scouting 100 years
• Will be held at Vässarö north of Stockholm
• 2,000 Sea Scouts
• More than 100 boats (from canoes up to Biscaya)
• Most activities will be water oriented
